not a place to live. a place to BE.
Enrichment House provides a supportive, engaging environment that ensures security while fostering socialization and encouraging independence.
The Enrichment House is a comfortable, homestyle living arrangement that provides a supportive, secure, engaging experience for people with dementia. Unlike other residential programs, people who live at the Enrichment House attend our Enrichment Club day program on weekdays. In addition to giving residents a sense of self and purpose, participating in the day program keeps their minds and bodies active through ongoing social interactions, community outings, and stimulating engagement. Benefits of day program participation include reduced feelings of isolation and depression, reduced dementia-related behaviors, and slowed cognitive decline.
Highly qualified Enrichment House staff support residents by providing meals, household and laundry services, and personal care assistance. Residents are encouraged to be involved in their own care and engage as a household member. Tasks are modified to meet individual needs and abilities, offering support to increase motivation, orientation, and success. |
